Behind the chandelier is my most recent Form Minus Function work. In a performative act, I “got rid” of the piece by taking it to the place where I took the original picture and setting it down on the ground, among a crowd of passing Loyola students. It’s doubtful that anyone I know will ever get to see the piece again, but I’m hopeful that someone picked it up and put it on their own wall. It’s even possible that that someone lives in the depicted building. It’s east of Winthrop on Loyola Ave.
